This company, based in Southeast QLD, offers heavy earthmoving equipment solutions. With a history dating back to 1966, it has extensive experience in mining and civil earthwork projects across the country. Recently acquired by a North American firm, it employs around 1,000 people and manages about 450 heavy equipment assets. They currently have a number of projects in the Bowen Basin and are needing a number of candidates.
Your new role
Stocktake
Relocating stock in the warehouse
Counting of stock
Allocating missing stock
Data entry of stock information into the system
What you'll need to succeed
Previous logistics experience
Current Coal Board Medical & Standard 11
Current Drivers Licence
Ability to pass a drug & alcohol screen
Ability to complete a police check
What you'll get in return
If successful in this job, you will work on a short-term contract at Middlemount Coal Mine. For the 2 – 3-week contract, you will be working on a Monday to Friday basis, 6am – 6pm. If you’re not living locally in Middlemount, camp meals and accommodation will be provided for you, however you must be within a safe driving distance of the site. You will be paid an attractive hourly rate with super on all hours worked & receive a weekly pay.
