Your new role

As a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy vehicles, including trucks, buses, and construction equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Replace or repair faulty parts and components
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology
  • Proven experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s licence (heavy vehicle licence preferred)
