Our client specialises in the maintenance and construction of new and existing water infrastructure network on the Gold Coast. Due to the recent growth within the business our client is looking for an experienced scheduler /planner to join the team to help with new and current projects.

Your new role

As a Scheduler/ Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and productivity of our maintenance operations.

Your responsibilities will include synchronising activities to avoid repeat visits, optimising scheduling to reduce travel time, and enabling works to minimise non-productive time. You'll manage workflow queues, liaise with stakeholders, and maintain accurate records to ensure seamless maintenance operations. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our field workforce and the satisfaction of our clients.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Experience in planning and dispatch in high-volume environments
• Traffic management experience
• Proficiency in using SAP for work order and resource management
• Advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of technical maintenance requirements in the water industry
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work flexibly in a complex service-oriented environment
• Demonstrated leadership, organisational, and management skills
• A commitment to health and safety
• A track record of achieving the required cost, quality, and time schedules
