You'll be part of a small agile team within a government department, dedicated to providing services to support the operation of key functions and promoting their work in the community. If you value creativity and quick problem-solving, this role is for you!

Your new role

As a Senior Software Developer, you'll have a lot of scope to lead solution design and develop innovative solutions to business problems. For the first 3-4 months, you will be the only technical person in this small team, providing an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact. You'll collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions using Microsoft tools. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing custom business applications with Microsoft Power Apps

• Automating workflows with Microsoft Power Automate

• Designing BI solutions with Power BI

• Developing SPFx solutions for modern SharePoint Online.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience with agile/scrum methodologies.

• End-to-end software development experience.

• Experience as the key technical person in a small team, leading solution design and implementation.

• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort in communicating with business stakeholders.

• Expertise in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

• Experience with SPFx, React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
