We are proud to be working with a leading national supplier of food packaging and processing consumables in their search for a Commercial Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. With nearly 25 years of operation, they are renowned for their commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability, providing efficient and eco-friendly solutions to both large-scale and smaller operations. Their strong focus on customer satisfaction has earned them a trusted reputation in the industry.

Due to continued growth, this newly created position will be based in either Truganina (Victoria) or Devonport (Tasmania). Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing the finance functions of the group, with a focus on driving strategic commercial outcomes, enhancing overall financial health, and ultimately growing enterprise value. You will manage the day-to-day finance function with passion and ensure sound financial control across all entities. You will support the management team with financial modelling, forecasting, and budget management. Additionally, you will ensure reporting is completed accurately and timely and provide performance analysis and recommendations to drive efficiency and profitability. You will maintain effective stakeholder relationships across the broader business and enjoy challenging traditional processes and the status quo.

CA/CPA qualified, you will be an outcome-focused leader with the proven ability to consistently meet tight deadlines within an import/distribution business, with a solid track record in finance leadership. You will have well-developed communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and an analytical mindset that lends itself to problem-solving. High-level proficiency in Excel is essential, along with excellent system's capability, and organisational skills. You will enjoy collaborating with key stakeholders across the organisation, including contributing to discussions and presenting at team meetings as part of the leadership group. This role is ideal for someone looking to lead a small team and operate with a high level of autonomy in a growing organisation. There is potential for this role to evolve into a CFO position over the coming years.
