Government organisation seeking SAP Data Migration Consultant for an initial 12 month contract

A leading government organisation (and the largest of it’s kind) headquartered in Brisbane’s CBD is seeking a SAP Data Migration Consultant for an initial 12 month contract to focus on the migration of data to S/4 HANA!
Your new role
Established many years ago to service the needs of those who call South-East Queensland home, this Brisbane headquartered government organisation are undergoing several technological based initiatives to enhance the lives of those living across the region.
Seeking to migrate the organisations data to S/4 HANA, the team responsible for this are expanding. As such, reporting into the Engineering Lead, your new role as the teams SAP Data Migration Consultant will see you apply your expertise to assist in the successful delivery of this initiative.
Focusing on the technical activities, you will design, implement and monitor data ETL processes (using BODS), manage data migration efforts, conduct data mapping, apply Python for automation (advantageous) and ensure the team follow best technical practices (amongst other duties). Aside from this, you will work with stakeholders throughout the organisation to ensure milestones are achieved, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and align migration strategies with business needs (to name a few).

What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience/knowledge across as much of the following:
- S4 HANA and Data Migration
- SAP BODS, Data Services, InfoSteward,
- Python, SQL, PowerBI, ETL Processes
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Working with individuals across all levels of an organisation
- Excellent clear written and verbal communication soft skills
NOTE:
- Full Australian working rights are needed
- Applicants need to be currently residing in ANZ (those outside will not be considered for this position)
