HD Fitter Wanted | 7/7 Roster | Day Shift Only | Temp To Perm Opportunity

Your new company

Hays is currently working with a global mining company, recruiting an underground HD Fitter. This will be a temporary assignment with permanent opportunities pending performance.

Your new role

You will be working on various mobile plant equipment and raisebore drill rigs, as well as conducting standard underground duties, such as troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining mechanical aspects of underground mining equipment and components. In this role, you will also be travelling between multiple sites.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience with Landcruiser 79, Volvo L120H and F series
  • Raisebore experience is highly desired
  • Strong understanding of hydraulics
  • Australian recognised Heavy Diesel trade certificate
  • C class licence
  • Must be able to adapt and work independently as well as work well in a team
  • Valid national police clearance
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Live in Perth, WA
