Your new role

As a Strategic Communications Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that support the department's objectives. You will manage media relations, create content for various platforms, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels. This is a 12-month non-ongoing position.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in strategic communications, public relations, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• This role is only open to Australian citizens, and you must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (baseline, NV1, or NV2).
