Your new role
About the role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and process improvements. You will play a key role in month-end reporting, financial analysis, and driving efficiencies within our finance function.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Reporting on monthly financial results and identifying variance drivers.
- Conducting ad hoc financial and non-financial analysis as required.
- Reviewing end-of-month workbooks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Supporting external audit processes, including assisting with the preparation of financial statements.
- Preparing and overseeing weekly and monthly cashflow reports.
- Providing commercial analysis and support to business functions.
- Completing various balance sheet reconciliations at month-end.
- Developing and documenting business processes to strengthen internal controls.
- Managing inventory-related transactions, including obsolete stock analysis.
- Training finance and business teams on correct transaction allocation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA or CA qualification.
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, with an audit background preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Experience with Power BI, Prophix, or Sage X3 (preferred).
- High attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
