Your new role
Seeking an experienced Flutter Developer with a minimum of 6-7years of hands-on experience in Flutter development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Flutter platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features, and ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. This is an initial contract of up to 3 months with potential extension for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using Flutter.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create high-quality, user-friendly applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- 6–7 years of experience in Flutter development. (Mandate)
- Candidates should have full working rights in Australia (No sponsorship available) - Please do not apply if you do not have full working rights.
- Fully remote/interstate staff (only in Australia) may be considered. However, they will need to travel to Adelaide at their own expense for a few days for induction/introductions and to collect hardware.
- Strong knowledge of Dart programming language.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Flutter applications to back-end services.
- Understanding of mobile app design principles and interface guidelines.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other mobile development frameworks such as React Native or Swift.
- Knowledge of cloud services and integration (e.g., Firebase, AWS).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
