Join a leading, global technology organisation offering a variety of services across aerospace, industrial automation and industrial facilities. This is an initial 12 month contract offering hourly rates and hybrid working.

Your new role

Join as a Senior Technical writer, with prior experience within software development requirements and documentation. You will be allocated to a number of projects (number depending on size and scope) and work in agile development teams. You will be writing complex software development documentation, ie User guides (not flashy brochures) so the need to understand and documentation technical and depth of detail. The output is in HTML and PDF form for content format.

What you'll need to succeed

• The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience as a Technical / Senior Technical Writer.
• Be to be able to work effectively across multiple disciplinary teams and tight time pressure environments.
• Working in madcap flare software required
• Strong knowledge of SDLC process.
• Experience like network diagrams is helpful
• Able to use tools like Viseo and screen capture tools.
• Based in sydney and able to go on site 3x per week.
