Our client is an innovative earthmoving equipment rental business based in Mackay, Queensland. They specialise in providing both wet and dry equipment hire, tailored maintenance packages, and turnkey solutions for mining operations. With over 30 years of experience, they pride themselves on their high-quality, low-hour equipment and exceptional customer service.

Your new role

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on mining equipment, including trucks, loaders, and other heavy machinery.

• Refuelling vehicles and machinery, as well as ensuring proper lubrication of moving parts to keep everything running smoothly.

• Conducting regular inspections of equipment to identify any potential issues and address them before they become major problems.

• Managing inventory of spare parts and ensuring that necessary parts are available when needed.

• Providing support to equipment operators, including troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during operation.

• Keeping work areas clean and organised to promote safety and efficiency.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous Service Person Experience in the coal mining industry

• Have a current Coal Board Medical & Standard 11

• Hold a current driver’s licence

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & complete a police check

• Be living within 500km of the

• Bowen Basin Region as this is a DIDO only role

• RIISAM212D: Service Mine Plant and Equipment (Desirable)
  
  

What you'll get in return

In return, you will be offered a 7/7 roster in the Bowen Basin, working days & night shifts. You will be
working 12 hour shifts, and offered an attractive hourly rate + super on all hours worked. While you’re on site, you will also have access to camp meals and accommodation. This position is commencing ASAP and is long term / permeant for the right candidate.
