An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Officer to join a dynamic team within a State Government department. This role is for a 3-month period and requires a professional who can deliver high-quality business and administration services.
Your new role
As a Business Support Officer, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and delivering responsive business and administration services in a professional, efficient, and effective manner.
Coordinating and supporting the delivery of ministerial and executive correspondence.
Processing and recording divisional correspondence across various platforms, including SharePoint.
Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders to ensure responsiveness and meet or exceed timeframes.
Managing correspondence and associated processes in accordance with agency standards and guidelines.
Ensuring effective systems and processes are in place to manage all aspects of document control, including dispatch, receipt, monitoring, and follow-up.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience in providing high-level administrative services.
High organisational skills and experience in managing systems and processes.
The ability to prioritise competing tasks and priorities.
The capacity to work through periods of high pressure.
The ability to work with a range of important stakeholders, applying tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
Competence in the use of online records management systems.
High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Experience in dealing with issues that are of a sensitive nature.
