Mangement Accountant

Newly created Management Accountant role in Brisbane CBD with one-day WFH

Your new company

My client is a very well-established and ever-growing property firm with an exceptional reputation in Australia. The accounting and finance team of circa 15 employees have a low turnover in staff, meaning they have created an environment that enables internal growth and career progression, shown in their tenure and commitment to the business. Due to changes at their central Brisbane office, they have decided to add headcount to strengthen their FP&A function, so I am seeking an enthusiastic Management Accountant who is ready for a challenge, on a full-time permanent basis.


Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your day-to-day work will include:

  • Preparing insightful reporting and analysis for senior executives
  • Timely completion and presentation of annual budgets
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Reviewing all operational processes to ensure efficiency
  • Assisting with scoping and implementation of new systems


What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree qualification with CA/CPA/CIMA membership (or close to finishing your papers)
  • 4+ years of post-qualification experience within a highly commercial environment
  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting
  • Experience managing change in a dynamic, fast-moving business
  • Strong management accounting and technical accounting knowledge
  • Exposure to a large-scale ERP software (D365 would be ideal)
