Your new role
As a Debt Collections Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and recovering outstanding debts while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and empathy. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Contacting clients to discuss overdue payments and arrange repayment plans.
  • Negotiating payment terms and settlements in a respectful and understanding manner.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all communications and transactions.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless and supportive approach to debt recovery.
  • Providing regular reports on collection activities and progress.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in debt collection or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to dealing with clients.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
  • Prior experience in Not-For-Profit is highly regarded.
