Your new role
This role involves providing technical and operational support to renewables and power generation assets during the construction phase. Reporting to the Senior Asset Engineer, you will also assist the existing team of engineers with a variety of asset management issues.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering
- 0–3 years of engineering experience in the energy sector, preferably with BESS projects
- Understanding of power generation principles and balance of plant equipment
- Experience with SCADA systems, HV/MV/LV switchgear, transformers, and more
- Mechanical systems knowledge
- Asset life maintenance planning
- National Electricity Rules application
- Familiarity with NEM, AEMO, and TNSP processes
- Knowledge of Australian Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practice, and standards
