AO3 Service Officer opportunity within the State Government June 30th 2025 with the possibility to extend

We are partnered with a State Government Organisation in the Brisbane CBD to recruit an AO3 Service Officer until the end of June 2025, with the possibility to extend.

Your new role

Working within this State Government Organisation, you will be responding to high volumes of email and phone correspondence. During this temporary assignment, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide timely, helpful and supportive client service
  • Interpret and apply relevant legislation, information and data to make effective decisions, assessments and recommendations
  • Negotiating effectively and taking appropriate actions to recover outstanding revenue and finalising debts
  • Undertaking routine audits and quality assurance

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience in negotiation or debt collection is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of digital and data technology and systems
  • Ability to interpret and apply legislation and policy
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to efficiently navigate multiple office computer systems
