An Electrical Estimator tendering for innovative commercial projects!!
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects valued between $50k and $10 million, with a focus on the commercial sector of the electrical industry. Clients include Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies, and projects range from schools and hospitals to multi-floor fitouts. My client is happy to take a Junior wanting to develop and progress their career or a Senior Estimator ready to hit the ground running!

Your new role

As an Electrical Estimator, you will report directly to the General Manager and be part of a well-established estimation and tendering team. You’ll be responsible for preparing competitive tenders for commercial construction, fitout, and refurbishment projects, as well as fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience: 3+ years in electrical estimating, with a proven track record on projects valued at $50k - $10 million.
• Expertise: Strong understanding of NSW commercial construction and new builds is preferred.
• Skills: Attention to detail, results-driven mindset, and an electrical background.

• Understanding and documenting compliance with client, regulatory, and legal requirements.
• Completing take-offs and bills of quantities.
• Establishing labour rates and material costing in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Preparing and submitting tenders within strict deadlines.
• Negotiating with subcontractors, head contractors, and suppliers.
• Managing client and supplier relationships, while also developing new business connections.
• Collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality outcomes.
