Your new role
- Obtain and meticulously review medical, financial, investigative, and rehabilitation reports to ensure accurate claim assessment.
- Ensure that all legislative compliance timeframes are met, coupled with ongoing reviews of essential reports.
- Adopt effective strategies to resolve claims efficiently, minimising costs.
- Facilitate early access to suitable rehabilitation, enabling injured claimants to achieve the best possible recovery.
- Providing top-notch customer service is the priority. You'll be a vital link between the legislative authority, employers, injured workers, brokers and internal teams, ensuring timely responses and efficient processing.
What you'll need to succeed
- Valuable Expertise: Prior involvement in handling Workers Compensation claims, supported by a history of achieving successful outcomes.
- Effective Communication skills: Strong verbal communication abilities that facilitate relationship building, simplify complex concepts, and enable successful negotiations with a range of parties, including claimants, external vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal colleagues.
- A Genuine Understanding: A heartfelt approach to customer interactions, recognising and appreciating their individual circumstances.
- Dedication and Honesty: A deep commitment to surpassing customer expectations, paired with a high level of integrity in all interactions.
- Strong Organisational Abilities: Proficient administrative and writing skills that help manage every aspect of claims in accordance with state regulations.
