Your new role
Based out of their Rockhampton office, this role will encompass the following:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects from inception to completion
  • Lead a team of professionals, including contractors, subcontractors, and project managers, to ensure seamless execution
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve any issues
  • Monitor project progress and address any challenges promptly to avoid delays or cost overruns
  • Manage procurement of materials, contracts, and resources.

What you'll need to succeed
This will be a hands-on Construction / Project Manager role; candidates with similar experience are encouraged to apply. This role will also suit a proven Project Manager ready to step up into a Construction Manager role.

You will ideally have:
  • Proven experience in commercial construction management with a track record of successful project delivery
  • Experience as a Construction Manager or Project Manager in Commercial Construction for the principal contractor
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Solid understanding of project management software and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction processes.
  • Tertiary qualification in construction management or a related field (preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.

What you'll get in return
Salary will be commensurate with experience with a generous salary package on offer. Company vehicle and fuel card along with the tools of the trade, such as laptop and phone will also be provided. You will be joining a supportive builder, who promote a healthy work-life balance, predominantly (but not limited to) a Monday to Friday role working from 7.00 – 4.30 pm.
