Digital Coordinator

Looking for experienced Digital Coordinators to work with a State Government department!

Your new company

An opportunity has arisen for experienced Digital Coordinators to join a State Government department in the Perth CBD. This role is for an immediate start, on an initial 3-month temporary contract, with the possibility of extension.

Your new role

The primary responsibilities encompass basic website development, implementation of digital content, approve quality assurance, social media and content creation and internal stakeholder management, among other duties:
  • Maintain effective communication by generating and responding to digital communication opportunities and by supporting Ministerial communication needs
  • Provide professional advice on digital communications to staff and management
  • Provide written communication support for Departmental and Ministerial digital content
  • Develop and manage website and social media presence
  • Coordinate copywriting for promotional materials, including publications, intranet, website content, and social media
  • Assist in developing and implementing digital communications policies and initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

  • Comprehensive digital communications skills, including content creation, web writing, CMS management, social media management, and creating connected digital journeys
  • Experience using internal communication channels and writing effective content for internal audiences
  • Strong background in brand management, project coordination, and collaboration with media and creative agencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate key points confidently and deliver presentations and publications
  • Interpersonal skills
