Senior Payroll Specialist for a global company in CBD for 6m

Your new company

This company is a leading consulting firm in the heart of the CBD; they are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist in a standalone capacity on a 6-month FTC.

Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will:
  • Oversee and manage the payroll function across ANZ for a medium volume workforce
  • Process end-to-end payroll including deductions, allowances, terminations, salaries, expenses, superannuation, payroll tax, PAYG lodgements and relevant reporting requirements
  • Handle all payroll-related queries and concerns
  • Ensure all employee data is up-to-date and accurate whilst practicing confidentiality
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding and leave requests
  • Identify areas of improvement in the payroll process and implement better solutions

What you'll need to succeed

  • Advanced skills in Excel and exposure to ERP
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing – standalone is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Great attention to detail
