Your new role

As a Client-Side Construction Supervisor, you will join the Engineering Projects team near Moranbah. You will supervise capital projects ranging from under $100k to over $20M, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule performance. The role involves managing contractor safety performance, supporting project managers, and overseeing a wide range of capital projects, including mine site infrastructure upgrades and improvements. The position is available for both FIFO (Brisbane to Moranbah) and DIDO candidates, with rosters varying based on project needs.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experienced trade or operator background in mechanical/structural, civil, or electrical disciplines.
  • Supervisory experience in the Queensland Coal Mining Industry, with BMA experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and safety leadership skills.
  • Experience in construction commissioning and commercial management of contractors.
  • Required qualifications: Coal Board Medical, Standard 11, G1, G8, G9, and G2.
  • Ability to influence, engage, and communicate effectively across multiple levels and stakeholders.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail
