Due to another number of successful tender wins, a Civil Supervisor position role within an award-winning, Australian-owned and operated Civil contractor has become available.
With a strong focus on delivering high-quality civil projects across Southeast QLD and Northern NSW, this client provides only the best to both its staff, project stakeholders and clients.
As such, they have an impeccable name in the market and are looking for a dedicated and experienced Civil Supervisor to join the leadership team.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this all-encompassing role will see you responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the civil site and the team, including safety, quality, subcontractor supervision, workforce management and client communication. Ongoing a variety of interesting projects are on the horizon, offering you job security and to further develop your skills and experience by working with customers, developers and government clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Acquire knowledge of project participants, contractual obligations, and scope of works.
  • Oversee and supervise field operations to achieve financial and safety goals.
  • Coordinate tasks for efficient delivery; monitor quality output.
  • Identify and resolve construction problems; provide innovative methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of safety and environmental consideration amongst the workforce.
  • Liaise with senior project management staff.

What you'll need to succeed

An experienced Civil Supervisor is required who is experienced on-site and running aspects of a Civil project.
A background in TMR, road, earthworks and/or subdivision projects would all be welcome.
In addition, a drive to succeed with a high-performing contractor, to ensure project deliverables are achieved, communicate with project stakeholders and ability to lead from the front.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as are previous experience with running and leading a site-based team and civil project.
