This is a newly created position for an Architectural Technician/Documenter who has experience working on tertiary/secondary (Educational) projects in Victoria.
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant Architecture Degree or Diploma in Building Design / Drafting;
- Experience in similar roles, at least 6years' and upward;
- Proven track record in residential, multi-residential, commercial, community or educational projects;
- Proficient in Revit;
- Strong foundation of BCA/NCC, building regulations, Victorian Planning Policies and Australian Standards regulating the design and construction of buildings in Australia;
- Experience and/or sound knowledge of documentation processes;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills;
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects of varying sizes;
- A team player – this firm prides themselves on always being willing to help each other out to deliver the best result for their clients;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to thoroughly and effectively communicate with including our clients, consultants, architects, building designers, surveyors, planners, engineers, our internal team etc…;
- Attention to detail, naturally shows initiative and is a great problem-solver;
- Strong leadership and organisational skills and attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks within strict timeframes.
