Hays Technology has partnered with our key enterprise client in Brisbane to appoint an SAP Project Manager - Integration & Business Technology Platform (BTP) to an initial contract to EOFY 2026. This role will support a large implementation of SAP S/4HANA.

Your new role

Reporting to the SAP ERP S/4HANA Data Migration & Integration Project Manager, you will lead all aspects of the ERP Integration & Business Technology Platform (BTP) stream. This includes managing the design, build, and deployment of integration architecture and BTP services using SAP Activate Methodology. The role is accountable for the coordination and management of system integration, middleware, data migration enablement, API development, and cloud-based business process automation, ensuring seamless connectivity across SAP and non-SAP systems.

What you'll need to succeed

The ERP SAP S/4HANA Integration & BTP Project Manager must be a technically astute project leader with extensive experience in large-scale SAP S/4HANA integration, middleware deployment, and digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder engagement skills, cloud integration expertise, and deep technical knowledge of SAP BTP, Integration Suite, and API management.

• A minimum of five to ten years’ experience in a project management role, preferably supporting large-scale data migration, system integration, or ERP transformation projects.
• Experience in delivering end-to-end SAP S/4HANA integration and BTP implementations, at minimum SAP Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, and Business Technology Platform (BTP), as an Integration or BTP Stream Lead or Project Manager.
• 5-10 years of technical project management delivery experience with specific evidence of having managed and delivered SAP S/4HANA integration and cloud transformation projects, overseeing complex data migration, middleware orchestration, and third-party system integrations; experience in industry standards for release management and transitioning solutions to BAU operations.
• Experience in managing comprehensive requirements analyses, integration architecture blueprints, traceability matrices, and functional and technical specifications for SAP S/4HANA integration and BTP enablement.
• Technical understanding of SAP S/4HANA data structures, including master data, transactional data, and configuration elements.
• Hands-on experience coordinating and tracking SAP data migration and system integrations and BTP, ensuring seamless connectivity between SAP S/4HANA and external applications (e.g., Finance, HR, Procurement, CRM, legacy systems).
• Familiarity with data migration methodologies, including Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation techniques.
• Proficiency in managing integration workflows using API-based communication, middleware platforms, or SAP-specific integration tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
