A government organisation in Belmont are seeking an experienced Project Manager with Logistics experience, to join the team as soon as possible. This role will initially be offered on a 3-month temporary contract, with the potential of extension on offer, dependent on the project requirements. You will be paid a competitive hourly rate, and will be required to work 3-days a week.
Your new role
As the Project Manager/Coordinator, you will be primarily responsible for:
- Planning and managing the end-to-end execution of the radio replacement project.
- Coordinate logistics and scheduling for equipment rollout across regional WA.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and emergency services teams.
- Ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
- Monitoring progress and addressing challenges to keep the project on track.
- Providing regular progress updates to key stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will display:
- Previous project management experience within a logistics/manufacturing function
- Previous experience in coordinating scheduling, logistics and deploying equipment across multiple site locations, including regional
- Advanced organisation skills
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to act as a reliable point of contact for vendors and teams
- Experience in telecommunication/radio networks would be highly advantageous
