Your new role

As the Senior Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for leading the technical design, development and deployment of enterprise-level solutions. This position requires you to comprehend business needs through stakeholder engagement, create technical design specifications, lead solution implementations, engage in governance processes and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, vendors and partners.

You will be analysing business processes, including business process modelling and optimisation as well as validating existing processes using best practices and methodologies. Alongside this, you will promote a safe, inclusive and collaborative workplace that supports the mental health and wellbeing of all team members. This involves fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will be a certified solution architect (e.g. Open CA, TOGAF) who has experience designing and implementing business solutions in an enterprise environment. You will possess strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, allowing you to identify solutions to business issues, analyse complex systems and processes and understand business needs through stakeholder engagement. You will possess a working knowledge of architecture frameworks and design thinking and have demonstrated experience in the full solutions development lifecycle.

Further to these, you will have knowledge of business process modelling (BPM) methodologies and standards (e.g. BPMN 2.0) as well as workflow automation and optimisation. This will be backed by knowledge of technology domains such as Microsoft, networking, cloud computing, virtualisation and cyber security.

In terms of personal attributes, you will be someone who exhibits behaviours that align with
Pilbara Ports’ core values of Safety, Excellence, Teamwork, Integrity and Care. You will be an individual who commits to an inclusive work culture where you foster a collaborative approach that encourages diversity, innovation and togetherness. High levels of interpersonal skills will allow you to excel in this position.

You will also need the ability to gain a Maritime Security Identification Card and WA Driving Licence.
