We are exclusively partnering with Pilbara Ports to find a Business Applications Analyst to join the team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.

Your new role

As the Business Applications Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and supporting non-ERP applications for Pilbara Ports. You will also handle user access and security for all enterprise business applications, both ERP and non-ERP.

In terms of Business Application Analysis, you will be identifying opportunities to enhance non-ERP application business processes through evaluating application requirements. You will work with Subject Matter Experts to develop and maintain requirement and design documentation as well as any relevant workflow and integration documentation, to reflect business application requirements and processes. Ultimately, this will support you working with the business to implement, maintain and decommission applications, as required.

Another big part of your role will be Business Applications Support. You will provide non-ERP application assistance and troubleshooting to resolve user queries and ensure applications operate smoothly. You will be involved with training and upskilling new and existing users on the applications, whilst developing and maintaining training materials.

You will collaborate to promote a safe and inclusive workplace that supports the mental health and wellbeing of all team members. This involves fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.


What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will have experience in applications analysis and support, where you have applied business analysis methodologies and standards. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will allow you to engage with stakeholders of all levels, transforming the results of your support and analysis into valuable insights. You will possess working knowledge of non-ERP applications such as Microsoft 365, Adobe, Zoho and SaaS business applications, this will be critical to your success in this role.

You will also need the ability to gain a Maritime Security Identification Card and WA Driving Licence.
