Our client is a well-established and reputable Building Surveying company that service all classes of buildings, including both residential and commercial projects.

Your new role

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will support clients with navigating the complexities of the certification process, and will work on a mix of residential and commercial developments. Your duties will include assessing building applications, site inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans , deciding on whether to issue building approvals/certify building works and liaison with builders and architects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience as a Building Surveyor/Certifier, with preferably a minimum of 10 years' experience
• Building Certifier QLD Licence with a Certifier level 1 or 2 accreditation
• Knowledge and understanding of the Building Code of Australia and relevant legislation
• Diploma of Building Surveying/recognised relevant qualification
• Valid QLD Drivers Licence
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, computer literacy and teamwork skills
