Your new role

• Collaborate with the business to document and share information needs for targeted user communities.
• Ensure applications, business processes, and analytics systems facilitate information sharing.
• Work with SMEs to design conceptual and logical data models and business process models.
• Communicate information architecture to partner agencies, focus groups, and user communities.
• Co-design data provisioning and consumption models with partner agencies.
• Improve data discoverability, quality, and understanding with focus groups and user communities.
• Assist in designing business applications and processes by providing relevant, digestible information.
• Ensure technical solutions and information architecture align with business outcomes.
• Collaborate with solutions architects to support information architecture with physical data architecture and application design.
• Translate conceptual and logical data models into physical data models.
• Guide data analysts in data profiling to enhance data understanding.
• Help develop new capabilities for sharing more and better data with appropriate access controls.
• Manage changes in data semantics and structure over time.
• Design reporting and analytics frameworks with data engineers and solution architects.
• Develop reporting and analytics applications with business intelligence developers and data analysts.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in developing Information Architecture artefacts – data models, class diagrams, taxonomies, standards, classifications, and transformations.
• Experience in applying Information Architecture practices in an agile and dynamic environment.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivery within a project team.
• Flexibility and sustainability in procurement and environmental practices.
