Your new role

• Oversee the preparation of the Annual Budget, Delivery Program, Operational Plan, and Long Term Financial Plans.
• Supervise operating and capital budgets, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, and coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial management reports, perform variance analysis, and conduct quarterly budget reviews, providing insights and trends to the executive management team.
• Develop and maintain planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, including annual budgets and long-term forecasts for various programs and infrastructure assets.
• Facilitate training for budget managers, ensure effective communication across the departments, and drive continuous process improvements in planning and reporting.
• Manage the current team of 2 Management Accountants and support them with the delivery of the budget process.
• Any ad hoc duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a CA/ CPA qualified Accountant/ Finance Manager with extensive Management Accounting experience. This role will require an experienced Manager of Management Accounting who can manage a small team as well and take ownership of the budgeting process.

What you'll get in return

You will get a temporary contract for 12 months starting ASAP and an hourly rate of between $65 - $80/hr + super depending on experience.
