Join Our client’s Team as a Maintenance Manager!
Are you a skilled Maintenance Manager with experience within a manufacturing environment and a passion for ensuring operational excellence? We are looking for a dedicated professional to lead our client’s maintenance team and oversee the upkeep of their site’s equipment and utilities. If you have a strong background in fixed plant operations and a knack for managing contractors, we want to hear from you!
Your new role
- Site and Equipment Maintenance: Supervise maintenance teams to meet statutory regulations and cGMP requirements.
- Equipment Performance: Develop and execute programs to improve reliability, output, and quality.
- Plant Services Management: Oversee waste disposal, water, sewerage, electricity, and gas services.
- Contractor Engagement: Ensure favourable negotiations and on-site compliance and supervise contractor activities relating to site, utilities, building and equipment maintenance
- Compliance and Licensing: Manage site compliance for pressure vessels, dangerous goods, EPA, and related areas.
- Safety First: Promote OH&S compliance and investigate site and equipment incidents.
- Capital Projects: Assist with the design, quotation, and execution of capital projects.
- Inventory Management: Responsible for maintenance spares inventory and consumables.
- Resources and Recruitment: Manage staff and contractor usage to ensure appropriate technical skills are available to carry out our required procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 3 years in plant operations as a Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
- Proven negotiating skills with contractors.
- Engineering or trade qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or related fields.
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Word, Zoom, and PowerPoint.
