Your new role
As an EL1 Policy Manager, you will lead a team of dedicated professionals to develop, implement, and evaluate key policy initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic advice and policy recommendations to senior executives.
- Managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring effective communication across various levels of government and industry.
- Overseeing the preparation of high-quality policy documents, briefs, and reports.
- Leading and mentoring a team to achieve departmental objectives and deliverables.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in policy development and implementation within a government setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of managing stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in managing and mentoring teams.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in public policy, law, economics, or a related field.
Candidates must be Australian citizens, and you must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2 or TSPV)
