Your new role
As a valued member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional digital operations services within a large and complex service environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring internal and external reporting meets expectations for defined SLAs, timeframes, quality, and integrity.
Logging incidents and requests, triaging, and responding/resolving in accordance with agreed SLAs and customer expectations.
Maintaining a customer-specific technical and process knowledge base to ensure currency and relevancy.
Driving continuous service improvement across the Desktop portfolio through problem management.
Adhering to security and process compliance to maintain effective and robust service delivery.
Independently working on remote sites to deliver M.A.I.C.D (moves, additions, installations, changes, and decommissioning) of ICT equipment.
Managing incident and request triage and response/resolution in line with agreed SLAs and customer service metrics.
Developing, reviewing, and maintaining the knowledge base of the Desktop team and implementing preventive maintenance regimes.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:
Proven experience and a record of achievement in delivering value-add service delivery in a large and complex service environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience.
Experience with contemporary desktop and server Operating Systems and Directory services.
Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience across multiple Microsoft/Citrix technologies and ITIL procedures.
Ability to define and monitor compliance with processes for the setup and installation of hardware, software, applications, peripherals, and other ICT-based systems to agreed service levels.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in configuring, deploying, and supporting end-user compute hardware, software, and accounts using SCCM and Active Directory.
Experience in supporting Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office suites.
Technical understanding of Directory Services and Group Policies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative skills.
Strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to handle, resolve, and escalate issues effectively under pressure.
