Your new role

As the Executive Officer, you will provide senior-level administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer, ensuring efficient and effective business outcomes. Your responsibilities will include managing the CEO’s diary, emails, and work schedule, preparing and proofing correspondence, coordinating strategic meetings, and handling sensitive information. You will also collaborate with Directors and team members on cross-agency administrative processes and represent the organisation as required.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in your new role, you will have demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment, managing sensitivities with discretion and confidentiality. You will also have strong organisational skills with the ability to set, manage, and prioritise workloads, excellent communication and engagement skills, capable of liaising effectively with stakeholders at all levels, proficiency in using software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability to work autonomously while supporting team initiatives and contributing to business improvement strategies.

Previous experience working as an Executive Officer and/or Executive Assistant will be highly regarded.

To be considered for this role, you will need to be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
