Opportunity for an experienced senior fleet maintenance officer to work with the emergency services division of a state government agency.
Your new role
As a Senior fleet maintenance officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our fleet management services. You will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks, coordinating with various departments, and supporting the management team in achieving operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily administrative operations within the fleet management department.
- Raising purchase orders through SAP
- Coordinate accident repairs and services acting as point of contact
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to fleet operations.
- Assist in the procurement of vehicles
- Support the management team with scheduling, reporting, and project coordination.
- Handle customer enquiries and provide exceptional service.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators and operational metrics.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a similar fleet maintenance role
- Microsoft Office software and SAP experience is essential.
- Excellent administration skills
- Be available to start immediately
- There is a requirement that all employees are fully vaccinated (boosted) against COVID-19.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
