Accommodation Coordinator

Seeking an Accomodation Coordinator to support a major education campus in Broome

Your new company

A higher education organisation in Broome are seeking an experienced and capable Accomodation Coordinator, to support the facilities and student services team. This role will be offered on an initial temporary engagement, with the possibility of transitioning permanently should all go well. You will be required to work full-time hours and will be paid on an hourly rate.


Your new role

As the Accommodation Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
  • Processing accomodation enquiries and reservations
  • Coordinating guest arrivals and departures, conducting the check-in process and orientating them around campus facilities
  • Managing the online booking system
  • Coordinating housekeeping and cleaning services for campus facilities and accommodation
  • Administering purchasing processes, procurement procedures, inventory and stock management
  • Assisting with the coordination of administration processes for venue hire, internal and external events
  • Participating in team meetings


What you'll need to succeed

In order to be considered, you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar position within accomodation and / or facility services
  • Previous experience in the education sector would be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence in supporting internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with an understanding of invoicing and stock control
  • Strong IT skills with confidence managing an internal booking system

In addition to the above, you will also be required to provide two references, one from the last 12-months, as well as a National Police Clearance.


What you'll get in return

  • Level 5 - $46 p/hr + superannuation
  • Full-time hours
  • Commencing mid-late March
  • Temporary to permanent opportunity
