Your new role

• The preparation and management of all tenement-related activities, including but not limited to, new applications, renewals, tenders, overlapping tenure holders, reporting and other notifications and compliance requirements
• Prepare and submit all Local Council-related applications
• Direct liaison with Local Councils and Government Departments to resolve any tenement, compliance and/or approvals issues
• Assisting with the management of all permits and approvals, ensuring compliance with all applicable legislative and regulatory requirements
• Ability to clearly communicate complex regulatory requirements in clear and concise terms to multiple internal stakeholders and functions

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science
• Experience of working within the resource sector, planning, regulatory compliance or other related fields. Preferably with experience in tenement, land, approvals or similar
• Demonstrated experience working with both internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple conflicting priorities is essential.
• Demonstrated analytical, evaluation and reporting experience
• Ability to work autonomously and interact with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external to the business
• Working knowledge within the regulatory and legislative landscape is ideal, but not essential.
