Your new role
As an APS 4 Data Matching Officer within the Code of Conduct team, you will be pivotal in analysing and interrogating information to ensure workers' behaviour aligns with the Aged Care Code of Conduct:
- Review daily reports of incidents involving aged care workers identified in complaints or serious incident notifications
- Analyse the database to identify any other incidents involving the worker, using data from various internal and external sources
- Verify identified matches based on qualifying information such as date of birth to determine if they are true matches
- Create a case in the database for further review and action by senior team members if a match is confirmed
- Record findings in the system if no match is found
- Perform other related duties as required by the organisation
- Complete all mandatory training programs as scheduled, with timing and completion discussed and agreed upon with the organisation's contact office
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Experience in data analysis and handling sensitive information is beneficial. You must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team. Completing mandatory training programs as required by the organisation is essential.
