Your new role
As an Investigation Officer in the Investigations Branch, you will:
- Manage a diverse caseload of investigations across various jurisdictions and complexities.
- Gather, manage, assess, and analyse evidence and confidential information during investigations.
- Make informed decisions based on thorough research, problem-solving, and evidence-based practices.
- Handle your responsibilities efficiently, seeking guidance and escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Prepare detailed investigation reports and briefs for your Assistant Director, recommending appropriate actions and remedies.
What you'll need to succeed
Seeking a highly motivated individual with strong judgment, discretion, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent research and critical analysis abilities.
- Proficiency in communicating complex information clearly to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
- The ability to apply judgment, discretion, and common sense in stakeholder interactions and decision-making.
- Efficiency and effectiveness in achieving results.
- Experience in complaint handling, investigations, or regulatory roles (such as application assessment, compliance monitoring, audit, or enforcement).
