Your new role
As an Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative support to senior executives within the department. Your responsibilities will include managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and handling confidential information with the utmost discretion. You will be the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operations.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
This role is only open to Australian citizens, and you must be willing to obtain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2)

This position is offered as a labour hire contract with a competitive hourly rate; Candidates who are permanently engaged within the APS and seeking a section 26 transfer are also encouraged to apply.
