Your new role
You will be joining the firm's fast-paced insurance team with a particular focus on the property and construction team in Sydney. In this role, you will collaborate with leading insurance lawyers on a variety of litigation matters in the field of property insurance, including complex indemnity disputes, liability issues, and high-value property recoveries. The team is recognised for its prominent position in the Australian market, partnering with many major insurers. You will be working with insurance lawyers who are independently acknowledged as experts in their field.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should have between 1–6 years of post-admission experience, a professional demeanour, and excellent communication skills with a strong client service focus. You must be able to prioritise tasks effectively, demonstrate initiative, and have keen attention to detail, along with a proven track record of meeting deadlines. You should be capable of managing smaller cases with minimal supervision in the Local and District Courts, and be willing to collaborate as part of a team on larger cases in the District, Supreme, and Federal Courts.
