What you'll need to succeed

• Must have 4+ years CAD drafting experience in Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Ideally, you will have a qualification in drafting or construction. But not essential. Industry experience is more important.
• Must have experience in building construction, either commercial or domestic, or both.
• Must have prior experience and be willing to undertake on-site measurements and on-site audits to either modify existing drawings or draft architectural quality floor plans from scratch.
• The majority of work will be producing accurate and complete floorplans of buildings to support space management and asset management systems and processes.
• Able to work well in a team collaboratively but also independently with limited oversight. My client promotes professional autonomy but requires work to meet standards and a reasonable workload to be met when work is reviewed and quality checked.

• Must have an Australian driving licence and be willing to travel and stay overnight for periods of 1–3 days. Collectively, it could be a week of time away in a month.
• Must be willing to work in the office 2–3 days per week in the Clayton office.
• Work laptop will be provided.
• Must be willing to work 3–4 days minimum per week. Ideally 5 days, but if the person is a very good fit, we could look at a day or two less a week.
