This company, based in North Sydney, specialises in supporting their insurance broker network by providing a range of general insurance broking services. Due to the success of their brokers, they are experiencing large growth and are looking to expand their banking and payments team. Your new role
You will:
  • Work in the banking team who are responsible for the processing of daily payments and transactions
  • Process client settlements, premiums and journal entries
  • Assist with processing the daily banking
  • Answering queries from insurers and brokers over the phone and email
  • Adhoc administration tasks as required to support the team, manager and clients
What you'll need to succeed
This is a permanent role that would suit those with payments, finance and/or transaction processing experience ideally in the financial services industry
Skills and experience required include:
  • Payment and/or transaction processing and /or reconciliation and finance work
  • Can work with urgency and to tight deadlines
  • Understanding of credit and debit transactions
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to follow set processes and to compliance standards
  • Being a team player and holding a strong willingness to learn
  • Intermediate Word and Excel skills
  • Being adaptable, open to change and showing initiative
