Your new role

• Assessing existing threat hunting tools and identifying any gaps.
• Reviewing the compatibility of these tools with the department’s current IT infrastructure and security practices.
• Providing a detailed report outlining the evaluation process, findings, and purchase recommendations for the most appropriate tools.
• Evaluating the tools against established criteria and making recommendations based on their ability to meet the department’s needs.
• This role is set to commence as soon as possible in March and will run for up to 3 months, with the goal of delivering key outcomes by the end of the financial year.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in cyber security or technology roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Awareness of cyber security threat hunting and intelligence tools.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
