Hays is proud to partner with Dominic College in their search for a Chief Financial and Operations Officer (CFOO). Your new role
Based at the College in Glenorchy, as the CFOO, you will be a key member of the College Leadership Team and report directly to the Principal. You will oversee and manage the corporate functions of the college, lead a team of 20 staff, and ensure effective and efficient support to the operational areas. You will also play a strategic role in developing and implementing policies, systems, and processes that align with the organisation’s vision, mission, and values. Your core areas of responsibility will include:
- Financial and Human Resource Management
- Oversight of all capital works projects
- Overseeing all business services functions (finance, governance, IT, marketing, enrolments, facilities, risk, compliance, and student services)
- Acting as Company Secretary for the College Board
What you'll need to succeed
As the ideal candidate, you will have extensive experience in a leadership role across a broad range of functions and align your values with the mission and vision of the college. CA/CPA qualified (preferred), you’ll have excellent attention to detail, enjoy working with a range of stakeholders, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strategic, proactive, innovative, and solutions-oriented approach. With sound knowledge of financial and human resource management, you’ll thrive with a diverse portfolio and multiple deadlines. You’ll also need to obtain a national police check and a Working with Vulnerable People check prior to commencement.
