Your new company

My client is a brilliant young firm, performing some highly interesting and technical projects across Australia. Their Victorian business is growing on the back of some major wins across some of Victoria's largest infrastructure projects. With 40 years experience they perform a range of tunnelling solutions from micro tunnelling, to pipe jacking, shaft construction, stormwater construction etc. A team of 5 engineers in Melbourne, a growing team, with a strong, fun culture, they now require an experienced civil engineer with a background in something as similar as possible.

Your new role

You are responsible for the planning, design, and construction of various tunnelling related projects. This role involves working on projects such as roads, highways, water supply systems, and utility tunnels. The engineer ensures that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Reporting to an experienced PM and a site engineer in support, you will effectively deliver projects together.

What you'll need to succeed

Due to the specifics of the client, we require;

A degree in ideally civil or mechanical engineer
You will have between 5-10 years experience in as relevant as possible technical, civil projects, packages up to $20m
Based in Melbourne, ready to go.
Strong communication skills, confidence out on site to manage subcontractors and report to clients
Project experience- $1m- $20m
The initial project is East
