Civil Truck Driver

Your new company
Our client is an established spray seal business with over 30 years in asphalting operation services.
They have sites in Gympie, Northern NSW, Pinkenba, Swanbank & Dalby. Experienced civil candidates as well as those who wish to upskill and progress through the levels are welcome.

Your new role
Your new role will see you based out of either Swanbank or Pinkenba Depots. You will have the opportunity to progress and receive ongoing training and support.

Duties may include:
  • Driving Crew Truck to site locations
  • Picking up bitumen product
  • Spray Seal / Asphalt Labour tasks
  • Machine spotting
  • Operating machinery (i.e. roller, loader, forklift, tractor broom)
  • Operating Trucks
  • Maintenance and operation of bitumen sprayer or spreader trucks (for experienced candidates).

Essential Requirements:
  • Construction Industry White Card
  • Own reliable transport
  • Labouring experience
  • Willingness to travel / work away from home if required for short stints
  • Strong spacial awareness
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests before starting and throughout an assignment
  • The ability to communicate professionally and work in a team/crew.

Strongly desired:
  • MR, HR, HC or MC Licence + Minimum 6–12 months truck driving experience
  • Forklift Licence / Front end loader / Roller tickets
  • Civil Construction / Bitumen / Asphalt experience
  • Tanker experience
  • Dangerous Good licence.
