Your new role
Reporting to the Team Leader, this CNC Operator/Machinist position will require you to be responsible for setting and operating
3,4 and 5 axis CNC machines to produce machine high end components to the highest standard, consistently meeting our clients’ detailed specifications.
Day to day duties will include;
- Setting and operating CNC machines.
- Applying a “safety before production” mindset, always operating machines safely, competently and in accordance with our client and industry standards
- Taking care to always follow the standards established by the internal work instructions.
- Applying your technical knowledge to correctly select and use appropriate measuring equipment to ensure your work is compliant with specifications.
- Working alongside your teammates to make a positive contribution to the group’s output and results.
What you'll need to succeed
- Certification III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Desired)
- Experience operating Okuma CNC Machines
- Technical experience in NC and CNC machine operation, including multi axis machines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Drive, passion and dedication to achieve results
